2002 - 2008 on behalf of the European Union he acted within so called Twinning Projects in Poland. As a project assistant and coordinator he supervised altogether four projects in the field of environmental protection and combating corruption.
He was an employee of the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht (EIPA) and was responsible for implementation of more than twenty international projects on combating corruption, common assessment framework and audit. He was manager in a research project on implementation of performance budget in the Polish budgetary system. He organized and evaluated study visits of senior civil servants around Europe and was responsible for contacts with EU institutions.
Krzysztof Dachterski works also as an interpreter / translator (German - Polish - English) and offers professional support in doing business in Poland.
