  • Business Psychology at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in Rheinbach

In his studies, Nico Kellmann focuses intensively on the connection between political processes and social communication. His focus is on topics such as digital political campaigns, the analysis of media in social contexts and the target group-oriented communication of complex content.

Since April 2024, he has been working as a student speaker for the CIVIC Institute. In this role, he moderates workshops and simulation games on topics such as EU institutions and democracy promotion, placing particular emphasis on presenting political content in an understandable and appealing way.

During his internship at Deutsche Telekom, he worked in internal communications and developed targeted content for various target groups. As part of a teaching research project, he also investigated the role of explainable artificial intelligence (Explainable AI) and its influence on the formation of public opinion.

He is particularly interested in the question of how political education work can be made sustainable through innovative formats - both analog and digital. With his creative and structured way of working, he aims to contribute to the communication of political and social issues.
